Çankırı Karatekin University Central Research Laboratory Application and Research Center (ÇANKAM) is an R&D center where research and applications are carried out to meet the practical needs of various fields, supported by advanced technological infrastructure and an expert research staff.

The aim of the Center is to ensure coordination among the existing scientific and strategic research laboratories, research and application centers, and similar units within the University; to facilitate the joint use and effective utilization of R&D facilities across different academic units; to support fundamental, applied, and interdisciplinary scientific research activities within the University by providing analysis, testing, and measurement infrastructure and services; and to host specialized and strategic projects while creating new R&D fields.

The Center also aims to continuously monitor technological developments and ensure that laboratory equipment is positioned and utilized in accordance with current technological requirements, thereby enhancing the University's capacity for project implementation. Furthermore, it seeks to collaborate with local, regional, and national industrial organizations, as well as other private and public institutions, in order to respond to the demands of various sectors and contribute to solving their problems by providing testing, analysis, and measurement services tailored to the needs of relevant stakeholders.
