A three-member delegation, consisting of Lecturer İbrahim Filazi, Lecturer Emel Ekinci, and Dr. Lecturer Deniz Çakar from our center, visited the Şabanözü Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) as part of University-Industry Collaboration and Social Contribution Activities. During the visit, meetings were held with prominent companies such as ÇANKUTSAN, BH FOOD, and MEGASAN, as well as with the Şabanözü OIZ Directorate. In these meetings, potential collaboration opportunities between our center`s laboratory capabilities and the industry were evaluated, with a focus on establishing partnerships that would bridge the gap between the university`s scientific expertise and the industry`s needs. Our center was also introduced to these companies. The firms were informed about the research and development opportunities provided by our center, and ideas were exchanged on how these capabilities could contribute to their operations. Additionally, companies that could not be met in person were contacted electronically through the OIZ Directorate, where our center`s capabilities were briefly presented, and it was emphasized that we are ready to offer our services whenever needed.
This visit, aimed at strengthening the ties between our university and the industry and contributing to society, is considered a significant step towards developing fruitful collaborations between the parties involved.
